Yash & Shiv—as their patients fondly call them—took over Chess House Dental Practice in October 2017. It seemed like a daunting task at first, as Chess House was their first baby and they had put everything they had into the practice. However, they were overwhelmed with the love and support they received from the Chesham community.
In the last 4 years, Yash & Shiv have left no stone unturned in making their vision for Chess House come true. Patients have witnessed the huge amount of transformation the practice has seen in the last few years. In 2021, they have seen one of their biggest dreams take form: that of expanding Chess House from a 4-surgery to a 7-surgery multidisciplinary practice, providing all treatments under one roof. The practice has not only evolved in terms of surgeries but is now equipped with the latest technology, intraoral cameras, intraoral scanners, digital smile design and microscope allowing our dentists to give the highest quality of advanced dental care. Our Chess House family now consists of 9 dentists, 2 visiting specialists, 6 dental nurses, 2 receptionists and 1 treatment co-ordinator and practice manager. The ethos of the practice remains the same; providing the best quality of care and making the patients feel at home in their dental practice.
Dentistry has always been Yash's first love; and he is often known to eat, sleep, breathe dentistry. Upon taken over the practice from Dr. Patel in 2017, patients instantly took a liking to him and his gentle demeanor. Patients often recommend their friends and family to see Yash, due to his calm mannerism making patients feel extremely at ease.

Shivika (or Shiv as fondly called by everyone) is the Co-Principal and Clinical Director along with Yash. She is an enthusiastic and dedicated professional with a passionate desire to offer her patients the best all-round care. She is extremely compassionate and tries to make her patients feel at ease.

Manesh qualified from Guys Hospital in 1993, providing high-quality dentistry for over 20 years with a special interest in cosmetic dentistry. He has recently exited the program with a distinction award for the Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Aesthetic Dentistry from the prestigious Eastman dental hospital.

Hirra has a reputation for her calm and gentle manner, often putting nervous patients at ease. With a keen interest in restorative and cosmetic dentistry, she keeps up to date with the latest techniques by attending regular courses and training. Hirra is a keen advocate for minimally invasive methods to help her patients achieve their dream smile.

Melody qualified as a dentist from the prestigious Barts and The London School of Dentistry winning the Dean’s Prize for Outstanding Achievement. She is currently undergoing further training in Restorative and Oral Surgery at Guys Hospital in London. Melody enjoys treating complex cases as well as mentoring and supervising undergraduate students.

He has worked in a variety of settings since graduating but has been a full-time speciality dentist in Restorative Dentistry for the past 7 years. He is currently based at St George's Hospital, Tooting, as a Specialty Dentist. He has a special interest in Endodontics and a range of restorative treatments.
